Paint It Asheville is a fun drop-in art experience where you create your own Asheville-inspired artwork. You’ll paint, and take home a finished piece the same day—no experience needed.

Since Artbeat Gallery & Lounge is the working studio of artist Elliott From, hours may vary. Most days the studio is open from 11am-5pm. Not at all! Paint It Asheville is designed for beginners and experienced artists alike. We guide you through the process so you can relax and enjoy creating.

Your experience includes:

• Pre-printed art outline on an 8x8 inch framed foam core art piece.
• All paints and brushes
• Step-by-step guidance
• A completed piece ready to take home

Each Paint It Asheville art piece is created on sturdy foam core and mounted within a black or white frame. A magnet is on the back and adheres to your walls.

1. Stick the wall magnet to the spot where you’d like your tile to go.
2. Attach the tile by aligning the magnet on the back of the tile with the one on the wall.
3. Adjust and straighten — the magnets make it easy to reposition until it looks perfect!

The paint we use is acrylic paint. Easy to clean up with water. We will have some smocks or aprons for you to use.

Most guests finish their painting in 45–60 minutes. You’re welcome to take your time and enjoy the process.

No reservation required! Paint It Asheville is a drop-in experience, so you can join whenever space is available. For larger groups or parties please book in advance to save a time for your party.

Yes! Paint It Asheville is great for kids ages 5+, families, couples, and friends.

Absolutely. Small groups are welcome. If you have 6 or more people, we recommend contacting us ahead of time so we can prepare your space. Max of 12 people.

Yes! That’s the best part. Create It. Frame It. Hang It. Once done your art piece will be put into a box for easy take and go.

Artbeat Gallery & Lounge offers beer and wine for guests to enjoy while they paint at an extra cost. Water and other soft drinks available as well.

There is meter parking along the city streets and several parking garages within walking distance.
